At the close of the Second World War most piston-engine airplanes were retired, but each country kept a few in case of small feuds between rural countries and police actions. The P-51 was one such airplane. With the newly formed U. S. Air Force the P-51 became the F-51. When war broke out in Korea, the United States sent F-51's and F-82's to slow the North Korean Army's advance. However with the introduction of Jet aircraft all piston fighters were withdrawn. This model is easy to build and you will be amazed at its ability it perform stunts.
