U.S. Army Primary Trainer
The Fairchild PT-19 was one of a handful of primary trainer designs that were the first stop on a cadet's way to becoming a combat pilot. Inexpensive, built mostly of wood and fabric, it was simple to maintain and easy to fly. The PT-19 was a part of every WWII pilot's training. By war's end, over 8000 had been produced. The Black Hawk Models PT-19 faithfully captures the lines of this classic bird and and shares the same easy to fly characteristics of its big brother.
